This service is an assessment that provides an opportunity for me to meet one-on-one with individuals and evaluate the nature of any problems they are having with alcohol or drugs. During an assessment, we cover biological, psychological, and social factors that could be contributing to substance abuse.

What does this service include?

• Referrals / Self Referrals

• Assessment and evaluation

• Counselling and harm reduction

• Family and workforce guidance

• Recommendations for further treatment, education and community support if necessary and appropriate

• AOD assessments recommended by the court or lawyers to assist with sentencing if the offence is alcohol/drug related
